01 — Overview

Description

Ship features end-to-end on a small, senior team building internal tools for a European logistics group operating across fifteen countries. You'll touch everything from PostgreSQL schemas to Vue components, with real ownership over the result rather than narrow specialist scope.

The operators using this software run multi-million-euro daily flows on it — so the bar for clarity, correctness, and reliability is high. We're looking for someone who treats internal tooling as a real product, not a second-class engineering venue.

02 — The work

Responsibilities

  • Design and ship features across Node, Vue, and PostgreSQL, owning each piece from spec through to production.
  • Partner with operations users to understand workflows and ship the right thing rather than just the requested thing.
  • Help define engineering standards and conventions as the team grows past three engineers.
  • Take ownership of features end-to-end, including production support and post-launch iteration.
  • Improve developer experience and build/deploy speed so the team stays fast as it grows.
  • Pair with junior engineers on PRs and design discussions — small team, no room for solo heroes.
03 — Who you are

Requirements

  • 4+ years building full-stack web applications in production.
  • Solid Node.js and Vue 3 experience (Nuxt 3/4 a plus).
  • Strong TypeScript skills across both server and client.
  • Comfortable owning database design, migrations, and the operational reality of running PostgreSQL in production.
  • Comfortable shipping in small increments and iterating against real user feedback.
  • Care about pragmatic, maintainable solutions over clever ones.
  • Nice to have: Nuxt 3/4 production experience, logistics or supply-chain domain exposure, background in internal tooling or admin UI work.
