01 — Overview

Description

Support financial planning and analysis for an UpMee client in the European SaaS space. You'll partner with the CFO and department leads on budgets, forecasts, and unit economics — the work that actually drives where the business invests next.

This is FP&A done properly: rigorous modelling, but always tied back to the business question someone's trying to answer. We're looking for someone who treats numbers as a means to better decisions, not as the end product.

02 — The work

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain monthly forecasting and reporting models that the leadership team actually uses.
  • Analyse unit economics, cohort retention, and pricing scenarios — and explain the answer clearly to non-finance audiences.
  • Prepare board and investor materials in partnership with the CFO, ahead of every quarterly cycle.
  • Identify and surface trends, risks, and improvement opportunities before anyone has to ask.
  • Own the monthly close support cycle in partnership with the accounting team.
  • Build self-service dashboards that let department leads answer their own questions without coming back to you each time.
03 — Who you are

Requirements

  • 3+ years in FP&A or financial analysis at a SaaS or growth-stage business.
  • Advanced Excel modelling and strong SQL skills — comfortable querying the data warehouse yourself.
  • Working familiarity with subscription metrics (ARR, NRR, LTV/CAC, gross margin per cohort).
  • Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting numbers to non-finance audiences and defending assumptions under pressure.
  • Curiosity about the underlying business, not just the spreadsheet.
  • Fluent English; Polish a plus.
  • Nice to have: experience with NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, or a comparable FP&A platform, exposure to fundraising or investor reporting, Python or dbt experience.
