Description

A premium consumer-goods brand is hiring a Marketing Director to lead their European go-to-market. You'll own brand, performance, and product marketing across six countries, leading a team of nine and an eight-figure annual budget.

The brand is at the point where instinct alone isn't enough anymore. We need someone who treats marketing as both craft and commercial discipline — someone who can defend a brand investment with hard numbers and a creative idea with equal confidence.

02 — The work

Responsibilities

  • Set and own the multi-channel marketing strategy across European markets, from awareness through conversion to retention.
  • Lead a team of nine across brand, performance, content, and partnerships — including hiring, developing, and (when needed) parting ways with senior marketers.
  • Manage an eight-figure annual marketing budget with clear ROI accountability and quarterly board-level reporting.
  • Partner with sales and product to align messaging, launch plans, and category storytelling.
  • Own quarterly OKRs and monthly performance reviews with the executive team, defending the marketing plan with hard numbers.
  • Represent the brand at industry events and in the press as the senior external face of marketing.
03 — Who you are

Requirements

  • 10+ years in senior marketing roles, including 3+ at director level with full P&L exposure.
  • Proven track record scaling consumer brands across multiple European markets — not just one home market.
  • Hands-on experience with both brand and performance disciplines; you don't outsource your understanding of either.
  • Strong commercial acumen and confident with the metrics that finance cares about.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and managing senior marketing leaders.
  • Fluent English; additional European languages a strong plus.
  • Nice to have: exposure to premium or luxury consumer brands, experience launching into new European markets, background in retail or DTC distribution.
